Celebrating and preserving the performing arts in Westmoreland County
Celebrating and preserving the performing arts in Westmoreland County

Season 27: 2022-2023

September 23 - October 1

With a beat-driven rock score that pays homage to the rock musicals of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, this cult favorite provides a compelling theatrical metaphor for the dangers of prejudice, intolerance, and provincialism.

December 2 - 10

One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways.  Hearts are broken, but they mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.

February 24  -March 4

Inspired by the 15th century morality play Everyman about the path one takes towards death and the meaning of life, the role of Everybody is chosen amongst the cast by lottery in this provacative, unexpected play.

March 31 -   April 8

An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage in this award-winning hit. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.

May 19 -  27

Three love stories, a murder mystery, and a nuclear espionage plot converge in this noir comedy about marriage and other explosive devices. A blunt-nosed, sharp-eyed look at love and tying (and untying, and retying) the knot.

July 21 -  29

Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides some side-splitting shenanigans. For after all, a princess is a delicate thing.
