A subletting mistake means that actor Elliot Garfield is forced to share an apartment with Paula, a former dancer, and her teenaged daughter Lucy. Though Paula has sworn off men due to unfortunate past experiences and Elliot is self-centered and egotistical, the two can’t help being drawn to each other in this romantic musical based on the 1977 film.
