Welcome to The Theatre Factory

December 10, 11 & 12 at 7:30 PM

We are very excited to announce our Live Stream Christmas Radio show:

Christmas Gifts

The show is FREE but please consider making a donation to help The Theatre Factory continue to provide quality theatre for years to come.

Christmas Gifts combines two of O. Henry’s beloved short stories, The Gift of the Magi and The Last Leaf, into a contemporary, holiday story that highlights the importance of caring for people through the act of giving gifts. On Christmas Eve, siblings Aiden and Sophia sneak downstairs to take a peek at their haul of presents, only to discover that their parents have been expecting them. They find a singular gift that they are allowed to open, a strange book, called Christmas Gifts. As they read the story aloud, they meet Jim and Della, a married couple from 1960s New York City, and the contemporary friends and roommates, Johnsy and Sue. How will these stories come together? Will Aiden and Sophia learn the lesson their parents have intended them to learn? Will they discover the true importance of gift giving? Find out by tuning in to Christmas Gifts.

The Theatre Factory is a nonprofit dedicated to the celebration and preservation of the performing arts in Westmoreland County. We are proud to provide a home for actors, singers, musicians, designers, and artists throughout the community. Donations will also support our KidWorks program for the education of young performers, and our scholarship program benefitting local high school seniors.

Dear Theatre Factory Patrons,

Due to steadily increasing cases of COVID-19 in the area, we have made the difficult decision to further postpone all in-person events at the theatre until 2021. We’re eager to see you back in the audience, but the safety of our performers and our guests must be our top priority during these uncertain times.

Please watch this space in the coming days for exciting new virtual opportunities. It is our sincere hope that we can continue to entertain, educate, and move audiences from afar, and keep our doors open for the day when we can all be together again.

Thank you for your understanding.
