30th Anniversary Season
2025-2026

Season Announcement

For 30 years, The Theatre Factory has been a home for stories that connect us through comedy, drama, music, and more. In honor of this milestone, we’re proud to announce a season that looks both back at the shows that shaped us, and forward to new voices and experiences. Our “Now and Then” season blends beloved classics with fresh, fearless works, celebrating where we’ve been and where we’re going.

We begin in October with Puffs, a newer fan-favorite that reimagines a certain magical universe through the eyes of the underdogs. This story is both smart and sincere, and a fitting kickoff to a season rooted in perspective and reinvention. In December, we return to one of the greats with The Sound of Music, a story not just about family and love, but of resistance in the face of fascism. Set against the rise of the Nazi regime, it’s a timely reminder that choosing what’s right over what’s easy is as relevant now as it was then.

February brings The Lyons, a razor-sharp contemporary comedy about a family coming apart at the seams. It is a darkly funny and deeply human portrait of relationships and letting go. Then in April, we embrace the sheer chaos and brilliance of Neil Simon’s Rumors, a throwback to the fast-talking, door-slamming farces that remind us how fun a night at the theater can be.

In June, we take a powerful turn inward with Fun Home, the groundbreaking musical adaptation of Alison Bechdel’s graphic memoir, exploring memory, identity, and what we inherit from the people who raise us. We close our 30th anniversary season in July 2026 with Jesus Christ Superstar, the rock opera that changed musical theater forever, and still resonates today with its questions of faith, fame, and revolution.

In addition to our mainstage season, our KIDWORKS shows will continue to provide young people with the chance to shine on stage in high-quality, youth-centered productions. The KIDWORKS season kicks off with Beetlejuice, Jr. in October – a spooky and hilarious musical romp that’s full of mischief and heart. In January, we present Charlotte’s Web, a tender and timeless story of friendship, loyalty, and the magic of words. In May, we finish the KIDWORKS season with The Fabulous Fable Factory, a lively and lesson-filled journey through classic fables that will delight audiences of all ages.

This season honors everyone who has been part of our journey and warmly welcomes all who wish to join us. We hope to see you at The Theatre Factory this season to celebrate the past three decades and toast many more to come!
