Our mission

The Theatre Factory is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the celebration and preservation of the performing arts in Westmoreland County. We are proud to provide a home for actors, singers, musicians, designers, and artists throughout the community. Your support makes our work possible – including our Kidworks program for the education of young performers, and our scholarship program that benefits local high school seniors.

When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. Can the power of optimism and community save the world?

The SpongeBob Musical is based on the beloved animated series and features original songs by Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, The Flaming Lips, Lady A, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants, David Bowie, and more!
